zanzibar tour

Daily in the morning or afternoon

Day 1:Arrive at Zanzibar airport. Met and transferred to your hotel in the Old Stone Town.
 
Day 2:Morning city tour, starting with the hustle and bustle of the market. The     tour also includes the Anglican Church and the Zanzibar museum. Lunch in town. Afternoon tour to the Jozani forest, habitat of the rare Red Colubus monkey. Return to town for dinner and overnight.
 
Day 3: Morning spice tour, passing several farms and stopping to see how fruit and spices such as the famous cloves are grown. Continue to Nungwi village for a seafood lunch on the northern beach followed by a visit to town for dinner and overnight.
 
Day 4:Morning transfer to Zanzibar airport or at leisure then afternoon transfer to the airport.
 
The Zanzibar stay can be extended by any number of days. There are hotels on sandy beaches which offer superb scuba diving, windsurfing, deep-sea fishing, and snorkeling on unspoilt coral reefs.
 
The hotes are Tembo Hotel, Znzibar Serena Inn, Z Hotel, Dhow Palace Hotel, Mbweni Ruins Hotel,Fishermans Resort, Breezes Beach Club,Karafuu Beach Hotel, Blue Bay Beach Hotel.

Day 1: Nairobi to Met Station Leave Nairobi for Naro- Moru in the morning arrive in time for lunch. After lunch drive to the main gate. Start a three hour ascending the mountain through the rain forest for the ten kilometers to the Met Station [3,000m]. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2: Met Station to Mackinder’s Hut After breakfast, continue ascend to Mackinders Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Mackinders Hut to Met Station Wake up very early in the morning at around 2.30 am and attempt point Lenana via Austrian Hut to Mackinders camp [4160m] for breakfast and then descend down to Met station for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Met Station to Nairobi. After breakfast, descend the last bit of the mountain from Met Station via Naro Moru main gate for a short drive to Naro Moru town to catch your transport to Nairobi where the tour ends.

Climbing Equipment: Gear for mountain climbing is not included in the tour price but can be hired at Naro Moru. We can also do one more day for a circuit around the peaks of Mt. Kenya in any of the above programs apart from other Routes. NB: Technical climbing requires about 7 to 10 days averagely depending on weather and your physical fitness.

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara Drive to the view point of the Rift Valley, descend the escarpment and drive via Narok for lunch then to Masai Mara, famous for its black manned lions and yearly migration of wildebeests. Game viewing in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 2: Whole day in Masai Mara A full day spent viewing and exploring this spectacular park with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara Full day A full day in Masai Mara with an optional visit to the Maasai villages or nature walk in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Nairobi Pre breakfast game drive. Late breakfast, and leave camp and proceed to Nairobi arriving late afternoon.

Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu Drive north via Mt. Kenya past coffee plantations to Samburu Game Reserve noted for the unusual reticulated Giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, Gerenuk and Somali Ostrich. Lunch served en route, arriving in good time for evening game drive Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge.

Day 2: Whole day in Samburu Full day is spent in Samburu Game Reserve with meals and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 3: Samburu to Nairobi Leave after breakfast with game drive en route. Drive to Nanyuki [the base town for climbing Mt. Kenya] for lunch and then continue to Nairobi through the rich agricultural countryside arriving late in the afternoon.

DAY 1. Pick up from your hotel at 7.45hrs to meet other travelers in the office for brief and then depart for Masai Mara. The journey will take you south along the floor of Rift valley with a stop at the view point. Lunch at Narok then proceed to Masai Mara game reserve arriving at Rhino camp in the afternoon. Proceed for an evening game drive up to 1800hrs. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 2 after breakfast leave the camp with picnic lunch for a whole day game drive in search of the big five. Lunch at the bank of Mara River where the annual migration of millions of Zebras and wild beast occurs. The afternoon is spent in search of predators which the Mara is famous of. Return to Rhino camp for Dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 Wake up at 6am and leave for an early morning game drive in search of elusive cats such as Leopard, Cheater etc. Return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast pack your luggage and leave Mara with lunch en route arriving in Nairobi in the evening.

Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli Leave Nairobi and drive south to Amboseli with picnic lunch served en route. On arrival, settle at the campsite and proceed for a game drive with a chance to see the many animals and the beautiful view of Kilimanjaro at the background. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2

Whole day in Amboseli Full day in Amboseli, with the option of village walk or taking a swim at one of the lodges. Night at the camp.

Day 3

Amboseli to Nairobi After breakfast, enjoy your last game drive in this wonderful park and leave for Nairobi [lunch en route] arriving late in the afternoon.
