IMPENETRABLE BWINDI

This is the home to nearly half of the only remaining Mountain Gorillas in the world holding about 350 of these rare creatures.

Transfer to Kampala: This is by bus or air and there are many companies in this service provision.

Day 1

Drive from Kampala to Mbarara for lunch, then to Buhoma where the park headquarters is situated. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Restcamp or Bwindi View Restcamp.

Day 2

After breakfast, track the Gorillas in the forest and this might take some hiking to higher levels of the mountain through stinging plants that require good dressing .It is also cold due to altitude and thicket. Reaching and stay with them for one hour then return to the base camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

After breakfast, return to Kampala with lunch on the way arriving late in the afternoon where the tour ends.
